Tomiko Interview - Bondage/Fetish Model Interviews

How long have you been involved with fetish modeling?

Two years.

How were you first introduced to the fetish community/fetish modeling?

I was introduce to it when I moved to Los Angeles. Before then, I didn’t know even know it existed.

Why did you choose fetish modeling as a career?

Actually, it is just one of the many areas I model in. My main modeling is actually commerical. I like fetish because it is artistic and creative. Plus, it’s a blast to shoot.

Which bondage position do you prefer to pose in best; the hogtie, spread eagle on a bed, the standing strappado, bound to a chair, or other?

I like the way hogties look. But I prefer to have my hands tied in front. It is much easier on the back.

What is your favorite gag to be silenced with while fetish posing; the ball gag, cloth/cleeve gag, duct tape, bit-gag, or other?

I actually like being gagged with an article of clothing from myself and duct-tape. It looks photography pretty cool with the tape.

What binding or rigging material is your favorite to be bound in for fetish modeling; nylon or cotton rope, leather restraints, handcuffs and legirons, duct tape, or other?

I love saran wrap and I love encasement with stockings. I also like ropes too..the whole process of tying and untying… the way the rope feels is erotic. I also like leather straps because they are nice and comfortable.

Where do you get the inspirations for your photo sets. For example; Raiders of the Lost Ark’s bondage tent scene with Karen Allen, Natural Born Killers’ famous/infamous hotel room hostage scene, 1970’s detective magazine covers, other fetish websites?

I am inspired by superheros.:) I also love to play the bitchy woman because it looks adorable when someone gets tied up and they are a little fiesty!

When you develop a photo session for your own website, is every safety concern explored prior to the photo session?

I don’t really shoot for content my site since it is not a paysite..more vanilla. The people I shoot with are very good about safety.:)

What types of storylines or themes do you develop or plan for your photo sets; i.e. love bondage, damsel in distress, or other?

Damsel in distress is my favorite.

Is there a fellow model fetish model, still photographer, video director, you wish to work with on a fetish photo/video project?

I have had the pleasure of working with a lot of good ones, but really still would love to work with Midori and Ken Marcus.

Why is your website so popular with it’s customers? While some fetish or model websites fade from the web?

I think it depends on the quality of the images as well as the personality of the people on it. Being personable goes a long way.

Do you plan on developing a career behind the camera as a still photographer, video director, or as a multi media artist?

I am too much of a ham to behind the camera

Or will you develop a career outside of fetish modeling, such as a graphic artist, dancer, writer, or other?

I plan on maybe doing some storyboard writing and editing since it is creative but probably for projects that I am actually doing.

What advice would give to the future fetish models and photographers planning on entering the adult/fetish modeling field?

Treat each other with respect and be professional.:)
